No Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises, including within the guesthouse and patio area. This rule is in place to maintain a clean and healthy environment, especially considering the joint unit setup. Any violation of this policy will result in a penalty fee. Weather-related Refunds: No refunds are provided due to bad weather or other environmental issues that are out of our control, including road closures. We encourage guests to purchase Airbnb's travel insurance for added protection against unforeseen circumstances. Late Checkouts: In order to ensure our properties are properly cleaned and prepared between guests, we do not offer late check-outs. We kindly ask guests to be checked out by 11 am as cleaners arrive promptly to start preparations for the next guests. No Undisclosed Guests: Only the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation are allowed on the premises. Please ensure that any visitors are disclosed and approved by the host beforehand. Unauthorized guests are not permitted for security and safety reasons. Temperature Control: The air conditioning (AC) system may not be used when the outside temperature is below 60°F to safeguard the AC unit from potential damage. Guests are encouraged to utilize natural ventilation and ceiling fans when appropriate. Garage Usage: The garage is designated for guest use; however, please note that we store some supplies here which we access occasionally for the neighboring unit. Additionally, you may hear us open the gate to access the trash cans. Backyard Access: The back porch, grass area, and left side of the backyard are for your use. Everything to the right, including the guesthouse porch, concrete patio, chairs, and sidewalk extending around the right side of the house, belongs to the guesthouse occupants. Please utilize only your designated area to maintain privacy for everyone. Respectful Conduct: Please be mindful of noise levels, especially during early mornings and late evenings, to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all occupants of the joint unit and neighboring properties. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in eviction without refund. Service Animal Exemption: Please note that we have an approved exemption and are not required to host service animals. By booking and staying at our Airbnb, you agree to abide by these house rules. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in penalties, fines, or termination of your stay without refund. Garage parking is preferred for this space. During the summer months you may also park on the street.
